Awaken Your Inner Artist, Paint and Pose: Our Paint Cafe Experience
Hey there Bohemian beauties, this week the boho bloggers found ourselves at the Fresh Paint Studio and Cafe. Both me and Ankita have an artistic background, so itès no surprise that this activity sparked our interest immediately. I've always been that weird quiet girl who loved to draw. As I grew older, I stared to really enhance my skills by creating my own manga/anime art, western comics as well as portraits. Then I upgraded to water colors and acrylic on canvas. Unfortunately, due to many reasons I had to sacrifice this important part of my life. However, ever since me and Ankita started Be Bohemian Bloggers, my artistic passion has been reinvigorated. So, if you are looking to reignite that flame, or enjoy a fun activity with friends or kids, Fresh Paint Cafe will fit the bill.
There is a charming little cafe section where you can have a seat and enjoy pastries and order coffee or tea. The studio itself is well equipped with professional easels, and tons of different brushes and paint colors. Decorating the walls are the owners artwork. The owner/artist was there for most of our visit and she was so sweet and accommodating. She gave us aprons and offered us fresh water for our brushes frequently.
She even gave us the most adorable fortune cookies with art themed fortunes on the inside. How cute is that? Its feels really good to be supporting small local business especially one with such a unique and valuable service.
We ended off our evening with a delightful curry dinner at Thai Room. Now, with are creative energies revived, me and Ankita are super excited to reintroduce art into our lives. I have some ideas for logos, characters and much more so stay tuned, BeCubed!
